There is something stirring,
Stirring deep within;
I know it as my passion
And I'm ready to begin.
I shared the above short verse on my Facebook page and was deeply moved by the response about feeling and living my passion. In particular the people who commented or messaged me asking how I found it and asking how they can find theirs.
The answer is not simple and yet it is. Years of self-awareness, awakening, discovery and healing work/ practice. Being willing to welcome in the truth of self, even when it hurts - at least when ready to know it/ for it to hurt. You cannot force yourself to understand anything. You can only understand what you understand.
Being kind. Having kindness as your aim. Kindness is not being nice. It is kindness and has powerful boundaries as well as a whole lotta love.
Doing what brings you joy. Not always the temporary happiness kind of joy but true joy - the light you up inside, peaceful, ecstatic, content joy.
Focus on your strengths, your talents. Do what you are good at - because it makes you feel good!
Listen to the people who believe in you. Not necessarily the ones who always agree with you but the ones who believe in you. Make friends with more people who believe in you.
You know what your passion is anyway. You might have forgotten, be afraid to admit it or think you're too far away from it or no good. But you still know. Follow it.
